You may have heard that a World of Warcraft magazine is coming. If the publisher can capture even a fraction of those players it has a decent chance of survival. I started thinking, are there any other games that could support an entire monthly magazine devoted to just itself? Wii Sports. Halo. Call of Duty. No. Nope. Uh uh. Maybe Pokemon. But the one that struck me as a viable idea is Rock Band. Think about it. A music magazine like your familiar with; interviews, reviews, lifestyle, etc. But instead of Billboard sales charts, it would be centered around the latest DLC releases and most played songs on Rock Band. Have doubts? Even the recording industry recognizes how prominant music games are. Now, I wouldn't object if they nominated me Editor-in-Chief for coming up with this idea. Though my lack of mastering the orange button may cost me some cred with the readers.
