Batman: Arkham Asylum has probably been one of the finest gaming surprises of this fall season's offerings. You could argue that the game might be one of the best superhero games this generation has produced; what with it's finely tuned stealth gameplay mechanics and gritty shadowy visuals that blend so equally well into the already established Batman universe. For users of the PC version of Batman: Arkham Asylum though, there's even a better reward beyond the game's basic givings with PC modifications.

Over at the Offical Batman: Arkham Asylum forums, modders have found a way to alter 'Bats' costume, and have started a message board thread with pictures of their own creations. You can say that modders have gone bat crazy, changing costume skins to match the typical variations; such as, the Tim Burton Batman(pictured above), the classic blue and gray bat suit from the comic book, or my personal favorite the Batman Beyond bat suit.

Some modders of the game have taken this a bit further by creating other awesome alterations, including other superheros you might of not expected. Is that a Captain America costume you spy below? Why yes it is. Green Lantern? That's right. Yes even one modder made a nice pair of cargo pants; which seem a tad over ridiculous. But then why is wearing a pair of cargo pants ridiculous? They're just plain good pants people.
