Either the Japanese are really tiny people, or they have very smart mice. I hope it's the latter. (Personally being short isn't where it's at.) Well whatever the reason, a collection of miniature Sega arcade cabinets from the past have been recreated in all their old-school glory.

Here we have is the SEGA Taikan Game Collection; a collectors' series of 4-inch long mini arcade games modeled after 4 classic Sega sit-down arcade machines. In the collection are OutRun, Hang On, Space Harrier, Thunder Blade, and After Burner (pictured below); which is hidden in the item description yet comes automatically included .

As you can see, these mini arcade replicas come fully detailed. Almost to the point where they look real enough to get the temptation to stick a quarter in them and start playing. From the original stickers decorating the machines to their individual coins slots, the collection was given it's heavy dose of passion. And why not? These Sega arcade games were important mechanical figures to a classic time in our collective gaming culture that should never be forgotten.
