World of Warcraft: Changes to Lich King Weapon Drops

Several items obtained by completing the Lich King encounter (both Normal and Heroic difficulties) in Icecrown Citadel are being adjusted, according to Blizzard European poster Ancilorn. The items aren't experiencing massive overhauls, but will see significant re-optimization. While there aren't concrete numbers on the stat changes, a GM did specifically list the following:

Royal Scepter of Terenas II: Mp5 replaced with Haste rating

Archus, Greatstaff of Antonidas: Critical strike replaced with Haste rating

Heaven's Fall, Kryss of a Thousand Lies: Armor penetration replaced with Haste rating

Stormfury, Black Blade of the Betrayer: Armor penetration replaced with Expertise rating

Fal'inrush, Defender of Quel'thalas: Haste rating replaced with Armor penetration

While only one guild has officially received the achievement for killing the Lich King, there are sure to be others seeking these weapons soon.
