It's been a couple of weeks since Mass Effect 2 launched, just enough time for most gamers to finish up the quest once and get a few hours into the second playthrough. In order to keep things spicy, EA is releasing two new pieces of DLC via the Cerberus Network tomorrow, and best of all, they're both free.

First up is the Cerberus Assault Armor, which should give players a distinct advantage when going up against a Red Sun Krogan or one of those nasty heavy mechs. The new armor adds a 10 percent boost to heavy ammo capacity, shields and health, allowing players to run in guns blazing and basically mow down an entire room of enemies without ever ducking for cover.

Adding to your ability to create carnage is the M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun, which just sounds downright badass. The new weapon features a longer effective range and armor piercing rounds, so for any enemy dumb enough to run up on you the last thing he'll be seeing is the barrell of the M-22a.

So what do you think of the free DLC EA and BioWare have been dripping out since the game's launch? Has the river of new enemies, weapons, armor and missions been enough, or are you so insatiable that you constantly cry out for more? Are the Cerberus Network goodies substantial incentive to buy new copies of the game, and has EA finally cracked the code on how to curb used game sales?
