During a conference call today EA laid out the release windows for a bevy of major upcoming titles. First let's take a look at what the company has announced, then we'll talk about some of the more surprising items on the list.

Q1 FY 2011 - April 1 through June 30, 2010

  • Skate 3
  • Need for Speed World
  • 2012 FIFA World Cup South Africa
  • Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11

Q2 FY 2011 - July 1 through September 20, 2010

  • APB
  • Medal of Honor
  • NCAA Football 11
  • EA Sports FIFA Online
  • Madden NFL 11
  • FIFA 11
  • NHL 11
  • Monopoly
  • My Sims

Q3 FY 2011 - October 1 through December 31, 2010

  • Crysis 2
  • Criterion's Need for Speed
  • FIFA Manager 11
  • NBA Jam
  • NBA Live 11
  • EA Sports Active
  • EA Sports MMA
  • Hasbro Family Game Night
  • Hasbro Littlest Pet Shop
  • Harry Potter
  • The Sims 3 on Consoles

Q4 FY 2011 - January 1 through March 31, 2011

  • Dead Space 2
  • Dragon Age
  • Need for Speed
  • Spore
  • Sims

While some of the announcements are pretty ambiguous (Monopoly, Sims), there are plenty of eye-openers on the list, not least of which is the announcement that a new Dragon Age game will be dropping roughly a year from now. With how much time BioWare took to create Origins many weren't expecting a new title so soon, but it looks like the devs are ready and willing to fire off the next title in the series.

Another major reveal is the fact that The Sims 3 will be hitting consoles sometime during this year's holiday season. How will one of the PC's biggest game fare on the consoles? We're all going to find out between now and the new year.

All in all, looks like a solid lineup for EA, and more new game announcements will likely come as the year rolls on. What titles are you begging for that aren't on the list? I would personally love to see a sequel to Mirror's Edge, but the poor sales of the first title may have already doomed that franchise.
