Wil Wheaton to Keynote PAX East

PAX East attendees are in for a treat as we have just learned that geek icon Wil Weaton will be the keynote speaker. Wheaton is an accomplished actor and writer, appearing on shows such as Numb3rs, Criminal Minds and The Guild.

"We've always considered Wil as the keynote speaker for PAX, so it's only appropriate he kick off the first PAX East," said Robert Khoo of Penny Arcade. "Wil is one of us. We accept him. Wil speaks to all gamers, from the console jock to the keyboard fanatic to the pen-and-paper devotees."

As if the Eastern half of the United States didn't already have enough reason to head to Boston for PAX East, this might just seal the deal. Then again, the event is already sold out so if you don't have tickets already you probably can't get them. But for those who will be attending, this is definitely one more thing to get excited about.
