Killzone 3 Details Coming Soon

Sony and Guerrilla Games are promising to pull back the curtain and give gamers a peek at Killzone 3 sometime "in the next few months." While the companies wouldn't be more specific than that, we've already heard rumors that the next installment of the franchise is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2010, so it looks like Sony may be starting to crank up the hype machine in preparation for a holiday launch.

Many folks who played Killzone 2 will tell you that while the game was a technical marvel, there really wasn't much aside from the graphics to set it apart from all the other titles in the crowded FPS genre. It will be interesting to see what Guerrilla does this time around to make gamers really sit up and take notice of what Sony has long hoped to build into a flagship franchise.
