Halo: Reach Beta Arrives May 3rd

There's an old saying in gaming, "You can't go two months without a new Halo game." And while that phrase isn't exactly true, there does seem to be nary a season that passes without some new product relating to Master Chief, Spartans or the Covenant. For the Spring, that item will be a beta for Halo: Reach, landing on May 3.

Unfortunately, there's a catch, as only those who own Halo: ODST will have access to the beta. Microsoft may later decide to give the rest of us a chance to bask in the glory of the latest entry in their flagship franchise, but it would seem that for at least a while they're putting up a velvet rope to keep the riff-raff out.
