Madworld Sells 66k in the United States

 While SEGA's ultra-violent, slice-n-dice-made-for-the-hardcore-gamer-gorefest, Madworld, didn't make the top 10 on the NPD sales charts this month, SEGA seems to be quite pleased with the game's sales.

According to GamaSutra, SEGA spoke with Venture beat: "House of the Dead has done very well and has absolutely met our expectations. The first set of data for Mad World is very encouraging, as well."

Publishers have been paying particular attention to Madworld, because it is an M-rated game on the Wii.  This game's sales can help other publishers decide what is worth releasing on the system.  The DS, however, does not seem to be having the same kind of luck with mature titles.
