Days ago, a leaked image from Nintendo Power magazine, announcing Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom coming to North American, was posted on the gaming forum NeoGAF. Recently Capcom has confirmed that the Wii exclusive fighting game will be doing just that, and best of all, will be playable at next month's E3.

Originally the game was released last December in Japan only, and many assumed that it would stay that way, primarily because of concerns over Tatsunoko's character licensing. Somehow that issue has been laid to rest and the fighting game, with its faced paced tag team action, will come across the Pacific, though no word yet of when that might happen.

I think now we can finally agree that 2009 might be the year of the fighting game, if anything else. Thanks to Kotaku.com for the story.
