Batman: Arkham Asylum Ships 2.5 Million

This comes as no surprise.  Eidos and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced that Batman: Arkham Asylum has shipped 2.5 million units; holy, selling like hotcakes! Via Phil Rogers, CEO of Eidos:

“Batman: Arkham Asylum is one of the stand-out games this year. I’ve been following the great reviews and consumer blogs and I’m delighted that gamers everywhere love playing this game as much as we do.”

This is certainly great news and one can only hope that sequel is not too far behind.
