Frank West to appear in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

Guess who is making their fighting game debut in upcoming North American release of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars? None other than the zombie smashing protagonist from Dead Rising, Mister Frank West.

What's Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, you say? Well Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars for the Nintendo Wii, is a cross-over fighting game much in the same vain as previous cross-over titles from Capcom like Marvel vs. Capcom or SNK vs. Capcom.

Yet this time the game will feature characters from Capcom's numerous game franchises, plus characters from the Japanese animation studio Tatsunoko. If you were a kid growing up in the 80's, you've might of seen Battle of the Planets or G-Force (not that dumb genie pig movie from Disney) on Satuday Morning TV; then you might remember some of the faces introduced into the game.

There was much worry over whether the game would see North American shores over licensing issues, but thankfully after some minor character tweaks (basically the removal of one character form the Japanese version) the game will be released this next January if all goes well.
