There are certainly a great number of survival horror titles that belong on most any compilation of hits: Clock Tower, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Condemned Criminal Origins, System Shock 2, Forbidden Siren, Clive Barker's Undying, and even Deadly Premonition (which has earned quite the reputation for itself). Such games however, are hardly ever dismissed or even forgotten by even the most casual horror fan, and more often than not are mentioned right alongside the pantheon of survival horror titles: Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, and Resident Evil.
The following is a series of horror games that are seldom celebrated, often overlooked by the mainstream, and are just every bit as deserving of your praise as the rest of the much lauded bunch. It's Halloween; and what better time to indulge in a few treats.
